The Australian Weathercam Network is a not for profit network of high definition webcams setup at key locations around Australia for the purpose
of monitoring local weather conditions, with an emphasis on viewing summer storms. Each camera takes high resolution still imagery at frequent intervals
which is available for viewing online within seconds. Imagery can also be viewed as a live time lapse sequence allowing the viewer to see trends in the
weather over periods of minutes, hours or even days. Imagery is archived for up to 7 days for quick and easy viewing. The construction, maintenance
and ongoing expansion of the Network is a colloboration between each and every camera host and
Ben Quinn (Network owner
and manager). More detailed information about the network and other key
    contributors can be found on
this page.
